So why does the moon not fall down on Earth? Basic math will answer.

Asipov Leonid 8/17/2009

Ancient scientists would have been probably happy to know that the modern era has
finally answered the intriguing question why the moon doesn’t fall down on earth.

An explanation for mechanical movement of objects was probably nothing more than
a mathematical guess.

The term “force” was introduced to explain every interaction causing movement between any two objects and it is dependent linearly upon two numeric values.

These equations were presented for calculations of gravitational force,
and later were also adopted for similar calculations of other forces such as
electric, magnetic, etc’.

According to this representation, every object has only two properties :
one related to itself (mass, charge) and the other to its location. The movement
caused by force (or acceleration) is linearly dependent on the two properties.
Since we are talking about two objects, the values have to be multiplied.
The dependence of the force upon the two properties is opposite relatively to one another.

Surprisingly this simple representation actually can explain and visualize all the
movement of planets in the solar system. The following Java applet will partially
demonstrate the above.

P.S
Spiral movement of the earth on it’s orbit is a true phenomenon.
It is caused by the gravitational force of the Moon infliction on Earth.
